Canon Camera Basics
Thursday May 21st, 5:30-7:45pm CDT

During this class we will explore the settings on your Canon camera and explore different controls and menu settings. This class is perfect if you just bought a Canon or have had one for a while and want to know how to use it better.

Birding Photo Walk
Sunday, May 24th, 8:00 - 10:00am

During this Photo Walk, we will visit Pheasant Branch Conservancy to photograph the variety of bird species found in the area. We especially encourage participants of our birding class to attend, as this is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on practice and ask any additional questions.

Badlands National Park, SD
May 25-29, 2026

An other-worldly landscape full of color and serenity! We will explore the buttes, valleys, pinnacles, and grasslands of this magic place. There are few places in North America that are as iconic as the Badlands.

Understanding Exposure (ISO, Shutter and Aperture)
Wednesday May 27th, 5:30-7:30pm

This 2-hour in person class will give you a solid understand of ISO, shutter and aperture and how they work together to give you accurate exposure and give you the artistic look of the image.

Nikon Camera Basics
Tuesday June 2nd, 5:30-7:45pm

During this class we will explore the settings on your Nikon mirrorless or DSLR camera and explore different controls and menu settings. This class is perfect if you just bought a Nikon or have had one for a while and want to know how to use it better.

This hands on workshop is design for photographers who recently got a camera and those who have been shooting in Auto or scene modes.

This class will help you to understand how composition helps you tell stories in your photographs with creativity and impact.

California Eastern Sierra-Nevadas
September 20-25, 2026

This hands-on course will teach you the fundamentals of using your speed light on camera to not just create light, but to create beautiful light that will make your photographs better.

Lake Superior Fall Photography Workshop
October 6-10, 2026

Arguably some of the best fall color in the Midwest is along the South Shore of Lake Superior in Upper Michigan. We will photograph the UP in all its autumn beauty during this workshop. We will visit amazing Superior shorelines, dazzling waterfalls, quiet inland lakes, and more! If the skies cooperate, we will also do some night sky photography.
