Camera Sales - Imaging Specialist

Full or Part-Time Positions

Job Responsibilities:

  • Consistently deliver exceptional service and support to our valued customers. Assist our customers in selecting the right products and imaging services to meet their needs by providing accurate and concise information to meet their needs or applications.
  • Represent our company and its offerings with the highest degree of integrity and professionalism.
  • Responsibilities include but are not limited to camera and accessory sales, imaging services sales, phone/email support, Social Media marketing, stocking, cleaning, and merchandising display areas, and always striving to gain knowledge of imaging concepts to share with our imaging community.

Qualifications:

  • Photographic proficiency, equipment knowledge, general computer skills, and digital imaging experience is necessary.
  • Must be self-directed, have good listening and communication skills, and enjoy working with people in a dynamic, team-oriented work environment.
  • Prior retail experience is preferred but not required

Social Media Manager

Part-Time Position

We are looking for a part-time (10-15 hours a week) social media manager to plan, strategize, and maintain The Camera Company's social channels. The ideal candidate will bring creative ideas to the table and is hard working & a go-getter. This role will grow our following by creating compelling marketing messages that align with company initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the team to develop a social media schedule for Facebook and Instagram and stay current on social media trends
  • Monitor the company's social media accounts and engage with followers/manage DMS
  • Comfortable being on camera filming videos and Instagram reels
  • Set up ad campaigns in the Facebook ads manager and monitor the results
  • Come up with creative ideas to promote our business and grow our social engagement

Experience:

  • Knowledge of photography/videography/photo equipment a plus
  • Experience creating graphics on Canva for social and web
  • Passion for creating engaging content for a local business audience
