Death Valley & Alabama Hills
Death Valley & Alabama Hills
Join us in January for an unforgettable photography adventure exploring the dramatic landscapes of Death Valley and the Alabama Hills. During the cooler winter season, we’ll take advantage of comfortable conditions and exceptional light to photograph some of the region’s most iconic scenery.
In Death Valley, we’ll explore and capture the ever-changing textures of the Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes, the colorful formations of Zabriskie Point, the rugged badlands, and the expansive salt formations of Badwater Basin.
As the sun moves across the desert landscape, we’ll work on composition, light, and storytelling while creating compelling images of this unique environment.
Our journey continues to the Alabama Hills, where massive granite formations contrast beautifully with the snow-covered Sierra Nevada peaks. Sunrise sessions will provide opportunities to photograph dramatic rock formations, sweeping vistas, and the towering presence of Mount Whitney.
With diverse landscapes, intimate field instruction, and some of the best winter conditions for desert photography, this adventure offers an inspiring opportunity to refine your skills while exploring two of California’s most iconic photographic destinations.
