Planning for peak colors, Resources for selecting the ideal locations, Camera settings and accessories, Composition, Possible editing techniques

During this class we will explore the settings on your Nikon camera and explore different controls and menu settings. This class is perfect if you just bought a Nikon or have had one for a while and want to know how to use it better.

Photography as a Second Language is a six-session, project-driven course for photographers who want to strengthen the expressive and communicative power of their work.

During this in person class, we will explore the settings on your Sony mirrorless camera and different controls and menu settings. This class is perfect if you just bought a Sony camera or have had one for a while and want to know how to use it better.

This 2-hour in person class will give you a solid understand of ISO, shutter and aperture and how they work together to give you accurate exposure and give you the artistic look of the image.

Join us at Picnic Point for a photo walk focused on capturing stunning fall colors. We especially encourage anyone who attended our online fall colors class—or anyone looking for hands-on practice—to come along, ask questions, and build their skills. 

This course will help develop your ability to use the frame of a camera to create images that rise above snapshots and tell your stories with emotion, impact, and intention.
