A Hands-On photo class with Sony

Struggling with low light photography? With Sony cameras, darkness is no longer your enemy! Join Sony Technical Representative Caleb Timmerman for an engaging in-person presentation focused on capturing stunning images in challenging lighting conditions.

Caleb will walk you through essential techniques, tips, and creative tricks to help you confidently shoot in low light—whether you're aiming for clean, noise-free images or artistic effects using longer exposures.

After the presentation, stick around for a Q&A session to get your questions answered, then head out with us on an evening photo walk to put your new skills into practice. Sony will provide a selection of lenses to try out during the event.

In case of inclement weather, the hands-on portion will take place indoors.

Bring your camera, your curiosity, and your creativity—this class is for anyone ready to master the magic of low light photography.

This is class is limited to 10 people.

1 on 1 Personalized Instruction

If you prefer more personalized instruction, The Camera Company offers 1 on 1 instruction. These sessions allow you to address only the topics you are interested in and answer your specific photography questions. Available in-person or virtually. $45 for each 30 minute block.

Minimum Registration

Camera Company classes need a minimum number of students to register before we can hold the class. If the minimum registration has not occurred within two days before the class date it will be cancelled. All students who enrolled in the class will be notified by email and will be offered to transfer their registration to another class offering or issued a full refund.
