Lake Superior Fall Colors

We'll be photographing stunning shorelines and Michigan's Upper Peninsula in glorious fall colors. Arguably some of the best fall color in the Midwest is along the South Shore of Lake Superior in Upper Michigan. We will photograph the UP in all its autumn beauty during this workshop. We will visit amazing Superior shorelines, dazzling waterfalls, quiet inland lakes, and more! If the skies cooperate, we will also do some night sky photography.

Group Size

This workshop is limited to 9 students.

Experience Level

This workshop is for beginning, intermediate, and advanced photographers.

Easy-to-Moderate Difficulty

May require hikes from 100 yards to as much as a mile or so from where we park the vehicle. Terrain is typically level and smooth, but can be uneven in some areas and the walks, up or downhill, have minimal elevation change.

Location and Airports

The workshop will be based out of Munising, Michigan. If flying, consider coming in to Sawyer International Airport, in Marquette.

If you prefer more personalized instruction, The Camera Company offers 1 on 1 instruction. These sessions allow you to address only the topics you are interested in and answer your specific photography questions. Available in-person or virtually. $45 for each 30 minute block.

Minimum Registration

Camera Company classes need a minimum number of students to register before we can hold the class. If the minimum registration has not occurred within two days before the class date it will be cancelled. All students who enrolled in the class will be notified by email and will be offered to transfer their registration to another class offering or issued a full refund.
