Photography as a Second Language

Photography as a Second Language

at PhotoMidwest

Photography as a Second Language is a six-session, project-driven course for photographers who want to strengthen the expressive and communicative power of their work. Together, we'll explore photography as an intentional language - one shaped by visual grammar, clarity of intention, and the honesty of attentive seeing.

Throughout the course, participants will develop a personal photographic project supported by guided discussion, reflective inquiry, and a collaborative salon environment. Each session builds toward cohesive body of work that communicates meaning with purpose and authenticity.
