Darkroom Printing Workshop at PhotoMidwest

Learn the essentials of black-and-white darkroom printing in this two-week course for beginners. We’ll cover safe darkroom workflow, making contact sheets from your negatives, and producing enlargements using test strips and basic exposure and contrast control. In the second week, students return for small-cohort sessions with dedicated enlarger time to complete first prints and then refine one print using simple dodging and burning.

Minimum Registration

Camera Company classes need a minimum number of students to register before we can hold the class. If the minimum registration has not occurred within two days before the class date it will be cancelled. All students who enrolled in the class will be notified by email and will be offered to transfer their registration to another class offering or issued a full refund.
