Utah and Nevada Spring
Utah and Nevada Spring
Join us in March for an unforgettable photography adventure through some of the Southwest’s most spectacular landscapes, exploring Utah’s Zion National Park, the dramatic Kolob Canyons region, Bryce Canyon National Park, and Nevada’s breathtaking Valley of Fire State Park.
This adventure is timed to take advantage of early spring conditions, when cooler temperatures, clear air, and the possibility of lingering snow create incredible opportunities for landscape photography. We will work during the best light of the day, capturing Zion’s towering sandstone cliffs, reflections along the Virgin River, and intimate details within its sculpted canyon walls.
The quieter landscapes of Kolob Canyons provide a more secluded experience, with dramatic viewpoints, massive red rock formations, and sweeping compositions at sunrise and sunset.
At Bryce Canyon, we will photograph the otherworldly hoodoos as they glow in the soft morning light, often enhanced by patches of snow that accentuate their intricate shapes and textures.
Our time in Valley of Fire will focus on its vibrant red sandstone formations, natural arches, and abstract rock patterns, where careful composition and changing light reveal the incredible character of the desert.
Throughout the adventure, we will explore creative approaches to composition, exposure, and storytelling while experiencing the remarkable diversity of the American Southwest in one of the most rewarding seasons for photography.
